Update this blog with some photos and let you know what has been happening! Ive had photo shoots, my website is up and running and been as busy as ever...a very great past few months here at the Mia Angel HQ. I will soon be running a blog giveaway so stay tuned....

Well things are moving along here at Mia Angel. I have now opened my new craft supplies store on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MiaAngel
I am really quite surprised at how popular craft items are! I know I love to buy them, so I guess everyone else does too! I haave really enjoyed selling beautiful embellishments and in the future I would like to sell fabric and ribbon also.

The Mia Angel website seems to be coming along well too, and the photos from the product shoot will be ready Monday, so stay tuned!

The next few months are looking exciting for Mia Angel! This Friday we have a product shoot with "Inspire Moi" photography, which I am very much looking forward to.
And I was thrilled to hear that I had won a website package valued at $700 from Where To Start Websites......I can't wait to have my own website and Melissa is so great to work with!

At the moment I am up in Bright, country Vic with my little "darling" who has turned into a bit of a tantrum monster. The terrible 2s are definitely here!!

Here is a photo from yesterday afternoon. The sun was setting, BBQ cooking and Mia was happily dragging her pram around.

This is another dress I made for Mia, a size 3-4 which fits her well!

I thought I would share a picture of a swing dress I made today. I have started making these with hair accessories to match...I apologise for the bad colour in the photo, it was taken early evening in not very good light!

So here it is, made with a beautiful pale green, cream and floral fabric and finished with a satin side bow :)

I feel like everything is new and fresh today. Being the 1st of January 2011 there is a whole, new year ahead! I have made my resolutions, some of which I am doubtful I will be able to keep...but some of which I am detemined to keep!

My little Mia is not so little anymore :( She is a big 2 year old! And a cheeky one at that. She is the absolute joy of my life. I see a great year ahead of amazing yet cheeky moments.

As for Mia Angel, I am really excited about creating new things. I have been busy sewing the new range of swing dresses, which will come out very soon. There will also be a range of school hair accessories...

I've been sewing today! I have learnt from my friend Mel (I will link her blog when I work out how to, it's strange inspiration)
These skirts are so versatile, I love how you can line the hem with either ribbon or fabric, personally I am enjoying using a strip of coordinating fabric....can't wait to make more!
